Re: The New Forum
Yay, finally an option for the avatars to the left.
Although now, left does feel weird after getting kind of used that see the avatar right THEN read back to the left towards right.
But ill get re-used to it.

Re: The New Forum
Okay, I am tired of the subscribe feature on this forum. Every day, I get more and more e-mails telling me someone has replied to this thread. In fact, I'm very sure I unsubscribed to this thread but it keeps resubscribing me. Please do something about this Lavarinth.
Omgosh, I figured it out! Every time you reply to the same thread, it resubscribes you!!!!!!!!111!!!1!1PISSED1!1!!!!!

You can disable the subscription as a default in the user control panel.
User Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit Posting Defaults -> Notify me upon replies by default: No.

What Dread said, you have to browse your user preferences for once.

Re: The New Forum
Well golly we used to have 64x64 Avatars and I thought 100x150 was good enough. Although the reason why it was that dimension was more to do with preventing the left column from expanding.Taeradun wrote:another forum I use recently increased avatars from 70x70 to 150x150, now when I come here and it's only 105x150 everything looks too small
and there's totally room for it here too

Re: The New Forum
yeah, back when I joined CC nobody needed more than 64x64, then when Worldcrafters came along and it had 105x150 (what's with 105 being so common??) I wtf'd.
apparently CC's current file size limit is 2441.41 KiB which is probably a bit excessive though

Re: The New Forum
Have you seen my avatar?
I can't get the forum to accept SWF or FLV for avatars without a preset size. Or at all, to be honest.

Re: The New Forum
Honestly I don't think we actually want that, either. It's almost as bad as allowing people to upload their own forum mods.

Re: The New Forum
The purpose would of been solely for the SC2 avatars in a smaller filesize compared to a GIF, not to allow the upload of SWF or FLV avatars, that's turned out to be a no-no, mostly thanks for Taer.
