World's Smartest Bank Robber

Post by DrumsofWar »

That's his face, right here

So let's review:
  • His face is clearly visible with hair color and eye color
  • His gun is clearly visible as is the make and model
  • His tattoos are clearly visible on both of his forearms
  • All this is now on billboards across the South
Yeah, this guy'll be real elusive.

That's actually  me, believe it or not. I'm wearing one of those masks from out of Mission Impossible, the tattoos are temporary ones, and the gun is a toy that I bought from a dollar store. DON'T TELL ANYONE!

Which goes to show you that we have the world's smartest police.

In fairness though, it's pretty hard to catch a bank robber unless he starts spending the cash he stole in huge amounts letting them trace the bills, someone reports him, or he does something really stupid like take hostages during another attempt since they don't know his name yet.

I actually thought about this possibility.

Classy dame, he is.
I have seen the Desler.  I have tasted of his milk and honey.

Old news but not posted here.  I saw a link to it from some other news DrumsofWar linked to just today.

First of all, a couple days after the news at the start of this thread, they identified the suspect:

http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/08/27/bank.robberies/index.html

And sometime later he was eventually caught:

Let's see, 11 counts of bank robbery each with clear compelling evidence plus the attempt to hold hostage an entire family.  Add that up and you get at least 75 years before parole.

By the way, the article about him being identified mentions that he's already been in prison before for an armed robbery conviction. :P
