Re: Understanding North Korea

The United States has been working on space-based sensors since the late fifties. The nuclear Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) and earlier VELA HOTEL satellites. There have been public acknowledgements over the functional aspects of those satellites as well as some advanced VELA HOTEL...

Re: Understanding North Korea

There are a series of cargo variants for the Boeing 747 that have capacities ranging from approximately 300 to 440 tonnes. These variants include side-loading or nose-loading ports. So transportation wouldn't be that big a deal. I mean even the commercial airliner variants could carry the weight but...

Re: Understanding North Korea

Is the 747 North Korea's idea of a stealth bomber? Shoot, no one would see one of those coming.

Re: Understanding North Korea

On the bright side, this may convince Kim Jong-Un in the long term to pursue a slow burn reform policy. He's doubtlessly seen how shitty his regime's military readiness compared to the MUCH improved response time of his neighbors to any shenanigans. His focus might have been to act so bat shit insa...

Re: Understanding North Korea

I'm not sure if I've veered a little off-topic here. This is why I hate conspiracy theories. To be honest let just stop all these pointless discussion and wait for the truth to arrive... To be fair nothing I've stated here has been any sort of conspiracy theory. There was even sourced factual infor...

Re: Understanding North Korea

North Korea was removed from the list of states sponsoring terrorism in an effort to assist in its denuclearization. It has since remained off the list even though it hasn't remained forthright in those efforts. [source: http://www.state.gov/j/ct/rls/crt/2006/82736.htm ] - State Sponsors of Terroris...

Re: Understanding North Korea

It doesn't seem like their M.O. This was an act of cowardice. To elicit a response North Korea would undertake more acts of posturing grandeur and direct confrontation. There have been lots of loose theories tossed out from the onset; but none of them have included North Korea. Forensics will reveal...

Re: BlizzCon 2013 Tickets On Sale April 24 and 27

Well, I guess in theory since people are purchasing with credit cards they'll have more time to save based on their billing cycles and so on. As far as their timing is concerned selling tickets earlier than usual for an event being hosted later than usual. Eh, eh. Yeah. edit: Herc, it just dawned on...

Keep the contact and location information for local embassies (i.e. both American and allied) at hand. Oh, and strengthen all strategic wartime knowledge with at least 2 hours of StarCraft each morning.

Re: STF: Ultimate

Did you originally intend to post this on April 1st? I mean, I suppose it wasn't April 1st when you made this thread when we take in to consideration the time shift.

Was it such a perfect April Fools' post that even you didn't realize it was April Fools'?
