I just noticed a kind of cooldown delay on the Warp Gates after all of the units were deployed. Think of it like a Mercenary Camp from Warcraft 3. You buy them instantly, then there is a delay you have to wait to get another one.

StarCraft 2 will have no unit selection limit, which should please or enrage StarCraft purists. Excellent. Remember this doodad from SC1 that looks like the remains of a giant mech? I'm still curious about it; maybe Blizzard will include a functioning one as a doodad/neutral unit.

A Battle.net feature I'd like to see would be a text filter for custom games, so that you could filter and only show, say, games that do NOT have dota in the title.

One thing that would change the gameplay up a bit would be to have units that could fire while moving (through a Move>Attack command).  I always thought at least battlecruisers and carriers should have had this advantage. The Mothership appears to fire while moving for a while when it uses the...

I'm really interested to see what they're going to do with the carrier. The mothership presents an interesting hole in a PvP air battle - no way can the warp ray or phoenix deal with it. Carriers will be tougher than in sc1, I reckon. Maybe. I think there's another hole if the Phoenix's Overcharge ...
