Re: So I watched Cloverfield

I thought it was a fantastic movie. I know most of my friends hated it but I thought it was great.

Re: Interview with Uwe Boll with UGO on WarCraft film.

Blizzard would never hand off their IP to Uwe Boll.

Re: Early starcraft campaigns on my machine

That Retribution and Insurrection were officially licensed campaigns just means that they had money to give Blizzard that folks like us can't afford. Any random campaign that's been hosted on CC is probably better than they are. Plus they ruined it for us by making Blizzard believe that they should...

Re: Bootcamp - Updated 12-22-2007

Thanks for your review :) As for the music, it was 100% composed by me, which is something I've set for myself for all future projects for two reasons: 1. Writing music is one of my great passions. 2. The RIAA can't go after me for using my own compositions. The reason it sounded so video-game like ...

Re: SMCC Update - Official Start Date December 27th

I entered Bootcamp for the contest, which I've been tinkering on for a year now, so you should be able to enter something you've already got cooking.

Re: ACMD0 (working title)

This campaign takes place during the last few missions of Episode I: Rebel Yell and the maybe into the beginning of Episode II.  That means that there'll probably be a painful lack of Medics. Eh, the only unit I really see as being anachronistic would be the Valkyrie. Medics on the battlefield...

Re: Anybody intrested in my new campaign? --Project Cerbrus--

I made reference to Cerberus Squad in LoaM in passing, as a nod to the precursor campaign. I doubt Blizzard's ever going to do anything with them again so it's probably a safe ting to make a campaign about. I wish you good luck!

Re: Campaigning for SC2?

I remember a cinematic taking a few months to finish. I don't think that will be as much of a problem here, given that we'll have the in-game cinematics like Warcraft 3 had, and (I'm hoping) those briefing cutscene stuff. I REALLY hope Blizzard lets us make our own ones of those... it'll make LoaM ...

Bootcamp - Updated 12-22-2007 (COMPLETED)

Before the rise of the Dominion, a man named Jack Sherall volunteered for a small rebel group named the Sons of Korhal. Bootcamp, a 4-map prequel campaign to Life of a Marine, tells the story of how Jack Sherall came into military service and met friends Craig Skillen, Katherine Logal, and Vertigo, ...

I have plans for a sequel to LoaM, and my buddy and I are taking plans we had for an SC1 campaign and holding onto it for SC2.
