Re: StarCraft Campaign's Story and Writing

Your double-negative makes me agree with you rawflesh SC's story relied a lot on its presentation, since it really falls apart when you consider its individual elements. Rebel Yell is actually alright in my opinion, though I would have liked more characterisation when it comes to Mengsk and the Sons...

Re: StarCraft Fan Campaign Listing

pr0nogo never talks but he's probably working on stuff (you wont find him here though)

Maybe stratostygo is working on new stuff? I think I saw some projects on SEN too but I very rarely go there

You can always make some stuff. Make the campaign you want to play!

Re: StarCraft Fan Campaign Listing

Pretty sure I have a link to pr0nogo's archive of this list, though i have no idea how up-to-date it still is. He mirrored it on mega.

Re: [ANIMATION]Animated Custom Cutscenes

They used the same things you use for portraits, RAD video tools. They were smacked and imported in a similar manner and just overwrote existing cinematic files. No idea on the exact specifications for creating one but I do know that they were likely exported into individual bmps by whatever editing...

Re: What is Battle.Net?

I don't understand why you don't just use google mixed with a passive understanding of what modern gaming culture involves these days, rather than asking other people to explain everything for you just go and experience it yourself.

Re: Overwatch?

In an ideal world companies wouldn't need to trick consumers because they would just create good quality products, but I don't really think you can do much in this case since nobody does that anymore. I think as consumers get more educated these kinds of tricks will work less and less, as seen with ...

Re: Something New?

It's pretty difficult to get into at this point since everything is so concrete and established already, newbies are generally very frowned upon/cast aside from what I know as the community is too focused trying to gain money through conning other players. If you want to try something new, just torr...

Re: One Big Step in Gaming History

Okay One; How am I going to install Starcraft, then Brood War with the CD key without a cd, since SC is uninstalled? Go to battle.net on your browser, register/log in, register your SC and BW CD keys with the website, download and install the games. Easy Two; did you all read the article I presente...

Re: New Hots Heroes anounced

The whole purpose of mobas is to retain player interest long-term, and while I don't know the stats around hots I know league has more players than ever before which means it's increasing. Whatever they're doing is effective for their demographic, which is pretty much all they care about (and realis...
