Can you change the difficulty in Civ 5? Probably not easy to build good AI for that kind of game, opportunities for exploits. I saw in a battle report of Civ3 that on higher difficulties, the AI basically gets handed stat advantages, I'm guess its the same for Civ5 In strategy games, the AI is only...

The compiled map has a ton of different war3map.w3* files. It's anyone's guess which one contains the object data (probably one of the larger ones).

One alternative I can think of is permanently revealing the map with the exception of the ready rooms. Then again, with abilities like Ice Bullet and Backdoor, that may not be such a good idea.

According to that thread, the trouble is when they animate, e.g. go up or down, because not everyone may have vision as it happens and clients start reporting different Z values. Since CFA doesn't do this, it might be safe. I would need someone to test this with me over bnet to be certain.

Hmm, summoning tornadoes on the map edge can crash even without bears. It's the projectile system, then. I changed it so map boundaries are enforced, and so far I haven't been able to crash WC3 with the tornadoes. Also, his ult is still bugged. When he runs out of mana, the triggers don't detect it...

I suspected as much. Rising_Dusk's knockback system doesn't check for out-of-bounds X and Y coordinates. Just another reason why it was necessary to write my own. The only thing I'm not sure about is that his system uses SetUnitPosition, which is SUPPOSED to check for certain conditions such as path...
