vJass is a user-made compiler that converts all the object-oriented syntax (structs, interfaces, etc) into regular Jass syntax. Sounds to me like you're attempting something that's out of your league. You can't expect to jump into a barebones setup without having some experience with the command line, at least.

You should try dual booting something like Ubuntu or Mint. Linux OS's aren't natively compatible with video games, but they can do just about everything else without any of the privacy-invading or hijacking bullshit.

It looks like I've finally fixed the flickering. Running WC3 in windowed mode with CursorLock did the trick.

If you have a better name for stuff like Civ5/Heroes games than "Melee Runs" by all means. I struggled with that one for a while. Game 2 will be verified and uploaded sometime this month then I won't bother with civ5 for a while (if ever again). For individual games, I usually just go by ...
