Re: Matrix Wachowski brothers, now brother and sister

Ridley's engineers enters.. Both muscular. One is asleep, the other disintegrates to create humans. And thus the world was seeded. There was Adam, from whom came Eve. And then there's the one who likes to hug trees and offer forbidden fruits. The deceiver: Oh, great tree. How shiny your fruit become...

Re: What Makes a Campaign/Scenario Good?

I don't get it, Lavvz.

I guess the relevance and idea comes from the line, "...and recorded every line. Four times."

Why four times? what happened?

Re: What Makes a Campaign/Scenario Good?

Very interesting. So, there are elements that people can attach to and make it a personal fav, and then there are those general things which are expected to be there.

It's like what you listed above, and then the fine line you drew when it came to personal satisfaction.

Am I getting you right?...

Re: What Makes a Campaign/Scenario Good?

There must be some kind of "public consciousness" on this thing too much like we have on Heroes and Villains or characters, right?

What Makes a Campaign/Scenario Good?

After watching a few of Mr. PrOnogo's LPs. I've began asking the question, "So, what makes a campaign good/enjoyable/praiseworthy?" See, when people make a campaign, scenario, mission, map, (well at least most, if not all) would think they're making something that will be good. The creator...

Re: [need input] Toon/Cell/Flat shading 3ds max

Yeah, I have seen it. I think everything google gives on page one. I'll keep looking and experimenting. In any case, I've posted two videos on the opening post. I'd appreciate any idea, impressions, thoughts, opinions. I have a goal set to what style but am quite shaken and unsure when this came up....

Re: Podcast: Custom Content

Edit: I've been listening to this podcast in a loop for almost a day now. And after an experience with my most recent opened thread, I'd just like to share something. 1. The vision is crucial. It holds you together, and keeps you going. If you know what you want, and have seen what you want in your ...

Re: [orchestral] Made Some

I didn't realize you made music too! I thought that one you gave me was just a one time thing.

In any case, I wish someday I could have a hold of those samples.

In the mean time, I've updated the opening post with a final version of Drifting Grasp. For anyone interested.

Re: [orchestral] Made Some

If you don't mind making one, I'd love to learn from you. What I really want to know is say what each of those knobs do when setting up reverb or chorus effects. I see density, size, predelay, etc., and got no clue. I spend a day tweaking those knobs I think and almost raged my mouse to oblivion. Th...

Re: [orchestral] Made Some

Mesk, I've read somewhere that those files are HUGE! I think Fruity loops can link Giga Studio, but the size, they say, is the issue, and may require a powerful machine? Mastering, I mean, is about equalizing, setting reverb, chorus, compressor, etc. I think I've gotten a hold of what I need to do t...

Re: [orchestral] Made Some

oh man, I'm out of ISP privileges currently. Actually they cut my hardline. No money no ISP. I shall remember this your offer and take advantage when I get the line back. In any case, updated the opening post with a new W.I.P. and a final version of the Protoss Theme. I'm not sure if I got the maste...

Re: [orchestral] Made Some

Grad, I'm currently using FL STudio and Edirol Orchestral vsti. You have to put the notes yourself just like in notation programs. The piano roll is much more convenient than things like sybelius. I have that app too and never gotten to use it. Thanks for the appreciation man. Needs more work I know.
