Re: Custom Campaign Audience

I'd say if you even just complete a small story-driven campaign then your miles ahead of most of us. The only completed campaigns I know of is Subjection and Crimson Moon. If I where to make a serious effort I think I would limit the number of maps to max 5, most likely 3-4, as making maps in Starcr...

Re: Playing SC2 Campaigns

Story is really easy to slap together as long as you avoid silly cliches like love stories and dark voices. But they don't need to be intricate; most games get away without having any real story and turn out good (e.g. a lot of vintage console games). Good dialogue is generally more important for a...

Re: Playing SC2 Campaigns

Crimson was nice, Amber Sun even better. Ashes of Freedom was great as well. I've been working on some missions too. I am the maker of the BioTech campaign. It's not really a proper campaign as there are no developed storyline, but that's not my area of interest anyway. Have anyone here made some ca...

Re: SC2 Campaign recommendations?

I've played some mission from this campaign, and it seems quite decent And it is actually a fully completed campaign too. http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/crimson-moon/ Are there any SC2 projects being made from members on this site? I remember CC to be the most prominent campaign site during the heig...

SC2 Campaign recommendations?

Greetings!

It has now been a while since starcraft2 was released, but it seems to be very few starcraft 2 campaigns ready out there.

Are there any SC2 campaigns that you people might recommend?

Re: Anxiety Attacks and What They Can Do for You

Just thought this was important enough to step out of lurker-mode Iskatumesk, you probably know this, but have you tried to cut off gluten, meaning food made of grain. It's not proven and is controversial, but I have read that about one out of four people with schizophrenia react with lesser symptom...

'Lazy' is just another word for 'not motivated', which was covered in the first post.

Re: The Campaign that never was

I guess it now is safe to say that my last project is a failure. 2009 WC3-TFT Kudro Basicly a 'choose your direction-style' campaign. Inspired by the promises of choice in SC2, I made a campaign where you could choose what to do in certain situations. You began as a draenei doing the legion's biddin...

Re: Life - Where you at?

Woah, nice post, Desler. I was here ten years ago, too. You had just released The Fenix when I started to check out this site. Afther that I have been on and off the 'mapmaking scene', so to say :P, made a few missions here, posted something there, but I was never a part of the community at the same...

[Music] Database of free non-vocal music, where?

(I dunno if this belongs in the workshop subforum, if it does then you can move the thread to there, mister moderator.) What I want to know is this: Where do you guys find music to your projects? Do you have any suggestions on sites with a lot of good-quality music (preferably with as little voice\l...

The Campaign that never was

9 out of 10 campaign-projects never finishes, probably fewer. Let's talk about those projects that never became reality. Many years ago, around 2002ish, I tried to make a starcraft campaign where Kerrigan was uninfested. It wasn't as stupid as it might sound, albeit it was pretty stupid. Duran neede...

Re: Barack Obama is our President of the United States

I wouldn't exactly say the internet is a good reflection of public opinion... it's always seemed overwhelmingly populated by liberals to me.  But in regards to your general point, I agree that we've been disliked more these last few years, but the question is, for what?  There are some th...

Re: Test my starcraft campaign

Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated. I shall try to implement your suggestions as soon as possible. Btw, at the end of the installation map, your not supposed to attack the firebats directly, rather, you should use your zerglings to lure them near your burrowed lurkers, and let your lurke...
