Re: AOL killing AIM in December

I haven't been able to get AIM to work on my computer for ages now anyway. http://www.sanctuary-inc.net/images/smilies/undecided.gif I was sad when Microsoft pulled the plug on MSN, especially since they dumped everyone onto Skype. Now, finally, everyone I used to talk to on MSN and Skype have migra...

Re: So, about the campaigns at alkali studios?

I'd totally forgotten about Alkali Studios being a thing, but now that you mention it I do remember Lav's old website. I think I've got a copy of Spiff Wars somewhere, but there should be a copy floating around somewhere here I think. Much to my surprise it's not on Church's giant Campaign List. I ...

https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/starcraft-remastered Lol pre-purchase to unlock skins for the Command Center, Nexus, and Hive. http://i.imgur.com/66T4SFt.png Those are some ugly fucking photoshops holy hell. Yeah. The Command Center and Nexus at least keep the general colour aesthetics of the...

Re: Starcraft HD Remastered

A regional/factional variant Command Centre? Makes sense. A Zerg Hive specially adapted to Char? Alright. The Auir Nexus? All Nexus are warped in from Auir, ergo all Nexus are Auir Nexus. They should've made it a Judicator Nexus, or Conclave Nexus or something as an excuse for why it's extra sparkly...

Re: Overwatch?

I haven't played it yet, but I've heard there's a free weekend coming up this week, and I figure I might actually give it a go if I've got the time.

Re: Which writer would you pick for a potential Starcraft 3?

Yeah, I kinda feel like in terms of story material, the StarCraft universe is kinda done. SC2, as questionably as they handled them, pretty much addressed most of the major plots leftover from SC1 and Brood War. We've dealt with the hybrids, Duran's mysterious master, the "dark force" that...

Re: Well, Shit...

I'm pretty sure that you'd need an act of Congress to actually legalize murder. I guess he could selectively choose not to enforce anti-murder laws, but that would only apply to federal agencies. State and municipal police forces would likely still be enforcing them.

Re: Scenario Distribution.

Yeah, it's fine to upload them as an attachment. Although, it can be risky uploading them as an attachment, since they can get lost or corrupted if there's a forum upgrade or other forum related issues. It's unlikely to happen, but it has happened before. I know Church has a bunch of missing files f...

Re: New Star Wars Film!

I still haven't seen Rogue One or The Force Awakens. I'll probably catch them sometime. It really bugs me that it's called "The Last Jedi" though, since the naming pattern thus far has put Jedi/Sith in the title of the last movie of the trilogy (Revenge of the Sith/Return of the Jedi), whi...

Oh, man. I miss Netscape. It was so much better than all the nonsense browsers we have today. I was ecstatic when I found the old Mozilla browser, which started as Netscape's spiritual successor, but then they abandoned that in favour of their IE-like Firefox browser.

Re: Rumors of a Starcraft HD Remaster

That would be cool. I'd assumed that the SC HD had long gone the way of the WC3 HD, just with even less to show for it.

Re: New Hots Heroes anounced

I find that all of the archangels are kinda bland. I think it would have been more interesting to get another one of the Prime or Lesser Evils into the mix instead. Or maybe Zul'jin?

Re: New Hots Heroes anounced

I kinda like that they're trying to replicate the WoW PvP warlock experience with Gul'dan in Heroes, but mostly I end up being disappointed in him for not taking the Siphon Life talent.

Re: New Hots Heroes anounced

Early on, I had assumed they had no intention of making Gul'dan a HotS hero, since they gave Azmodan a Gul'dan costume. I can only assume that Gul'dan will have an Azmodan costume in return.
