This is a run down interview-style overview of the famous thread known as "Somebody can tell me About CC. History?" In this thread, a simple forumer questioned the history of Campaign Creations, where many veteran forumers joined in on detailing the history. Who has the complete list of the Gallantry Team? I'm sure Magic would know everyone who participated in that campaign. I must say, for the first mission it was very good.

Yes, I must say the Picture Thread was very groundbreaking in being personal between forumers. I believe that is also the thread where Desler posted his hair. The only body part we ever saw of him.

Yep, I added it in to my previous post. The main writers were Robert Frazer, me and Chewbacca. Alot of the others contributed too. Actually I have a list of those people here somewhere, in order of first posts to that thread.

The story's main plot was CC's war against Aaron the devious Terran, with him trying to invade CC and turn all the campaigns bad. Alot of other stuff happened, like Crossworld's Saga (Desler's first SC campaign, really horrible piece ) getting loose and spreading dark goo of crappiness all over.

Me and Rob saved the whole piece before the forums changed back then. We were thinking about putting it up to a site at times, and such, maybe finishing it one day, but never really got to it. I once edited out all the side-notes and things but later my file got corrupted. Luckily Rob still had the original copy. I can mail it to you, but it's the unedited version. The story is repeated from the beginning many times in the start and stuff. On the other hand, I could go around editing it clean again, if you'll wait for a couple of days.

The good old days... eh? I miss them. A big problem with this forums is that everyone asks mods to close threads. Mods should not take such direct action. If it is a spam post, let it be. Maybe, we can have some fun again.

I remember that. And Rainblades was WangTang and had that homosexual ninja avatar. And then after he changed it, he changed his name nearly daily until he stuck to Appolyon for a while, and finally he went with Rainblades. His signature was like "It's raining blades" or something and had a whole bunch of swords in the background. Then Lucainan had his sig with "God is crying kittens." And TPC had his whole Rock fetish a while back.

Rudder=SpaceHulk, one of the better campaigns in CC's history. Trauma=A whole bunch of shit (later renamed Clint Knapp, and he had planned an RM2k campaign that never got finished, called like Dragon Quest or something. Or Day of the Dragon. *shrug*)

There was some other guy, it was like.. "Grim Reaper" or something. "ReaperOfSouls" perhaps. I can't remember. He was important.

Desler left SCLegacy to start CC after something happened there that made him leave. Did he get angry with stuff over there? Someone please confirm.

Sharandar and Varanus made the first few campaigns on CC, along with Desler. Desler made Crossworlds Saga, then Fenix I believe.

Only forumers I remember from back then are Palin the Map Catalyst (with his silver signature with the gold gothic lettering), slim_shady, shortly thereafter renamed to TPC (The People's Champ after his Rock fetish.), Spectrum (with his badass rainbow signature), Desler (with his blue Desler avatar), AA7 (I have no comment for AA7 so this is a space filler), Magic and his ass, and a few other people that I can't recall at the moment, and WangTang.

I made a map a long time ago with a whole bunch of forum users. There was... umm.. Kaervek, Me, Magic, AA7Dragoon and Mr.? I can't remember the exact people, but I think that was the "rescue team."

I'm at about where AA7 was. I joined after the first forum, it was the second one when I joined. That's all I can remember for now. Maybe some more will come to me later.

All I can remember is that I managed to miss the short period where this forum had orc smileys, like over at WC3C forum. And there was some guy with an avatar of an eye rolling ever backwards into his head.. and then up again from the bottom.

---Starcraft: Brood War is released

---Somewhere in this period, AoK is removed from CC
---Mods become the standard in campaign making
-The Economic Boom (Desler becomes sloppier in keeping up with his campaigns)
-The Second Rennaisance (Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos is released)
-New Beginnings (Desler leaves CC and appoints a new trusted leader, RCX, to take over his site)
-The War of the Second Millenium (Some disputes go on with Desler and RCX)
-The Revolution (RCX retaliates)
-The Fall of CC (Suddenly Desler discharges RCX and the CC community)
-The Revival of CC
-The Dark Ages (Warcraft 3 is the standard game but very few high quality campaigns in sight and there is yet to be a "chronicle" breakthrough)
-The Dark Ages II (CURRENT) (Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne is released and a Blizzard breakthrough of the new campaign system is released from the game company. Still awaiting the completion of the project)

When I cam e to CC (about three tears ago) I never even noticed the forums. Then awile later I read the news post about desler leaving CC and then it was gone. I came back to cc one day because of a google search for it and it was up again but with a .org extention. Now I post on the forum more often. I remeber TPC with his wrestling sig that was when I never posted on the forum strangly I only remeber TPC from back then and magic.

Didn't desler leave CC and give it to RCX because he was looking for a job I remember that post it said he couldn't find a computer related job and he was thinking going to be a police. Or am I competly wrong?

I've been lurking at CC since way back before LotC2 was made...
I remember downloading most of the campaigns here on a crappy dial-up. But then most of the campaigns I still wanted to play were taken down before I got cable...

ReaperOfSouls doing POAR(Purity of A Race). Who remembers the super campaigns Target Earth and Biohazard(I think It was BioSomething). They were going to use these "super" editors but unfortunately they were all a con .

I think I first found cc in 1999 but didn't join the forum till the first yabb one.
