| Yeah.
Fortunately, I just make TPC do all of the actual work, while I sit
around and think about doing stuff to turn the site into the best place
ever or something. I have this funky looking sketch of a new site
layout. It's got a bunch of angled lines and stuff. |

Yep.
Thats my role in this grand scheme of things. Sheer gruntwork. Speaking
of which, someone remind me to get WB set up sometime during the rest
of the week when I have time. _________________ <a

There's nothing wrong with having hope for Warcraft III, Joel, but there are some of us that never gave up hope on Brood War. _________________

If the people here at CC want to make BW campaigns, great! Make some!
Make the best BW campaigns you can. Be creative. Make a game with
something else, program your own engine. It can be done. If something
sufficiently cool came along, I bet it could find a home on CC whatever
game it's for.
I don't think any of this is a matter of 'hope' or giving up on a game,
though. I'd recommend war3 since it offers more potential for
effectively utilizing original media content, and would likely have
more of an audience these days, though.
And Warbringer - yeah its good that you're making your
mod/campaign. The more cool projects out there, the better. What about
everyone else here? |

I currently have a special project for Warcraft 3 but I won't give out
any information until the project gets a good deal of work done.
Mostly because I don't like to hype things in advance and I prefer to make things fairly secret until they can be presented. _________________ The Peoples Communist Party- Lead by Mattz (TPC)

I had a project for war3 until Magic fired me from SA so I cancelled it because it was on the Star Alliance community. _________________

LOL
pyro: how about you finish your campaign then submit it to magic
and get back on sa staff. Or you could submit it to palin and maybe
become cc staff.

Err, 'decide' to make it? Yeah, of course I'm going to make the other
24 installments... why, it's not as if I'm going to have a mysterious
harddrive failure after I release the first episode, which, ironically
enough, is the only one I have planned, and plan on doing... err, where
was I? Well, fine, perhaps I'll make a REAL question, with some sort of
possible reward... Ehh, no, that's too much work.

I make little things for BroodWar to amuse myself. Mods and maps.
It would seem I lack the level of commitment necessary to create a
campaign, and instead make missions and mods for my friends and family
to play. _________________ I'm

lol! You used to be so vicious in those debates DoW.
Dang.. As I look over this thread, I did very well in this debate over
Education. Most likely because I had just finished freshmen year as a
Team Debater and our yearly topic was on how to improve Public
Education within the United States.
I miss more debates with you DoW. And I miss Sodon and Rua. _________________ Six year Veteran and counting...

Yep, I do. He was Oracle's nemesis. They had some titanic arguments. I
always thought Mr. Frosty had keen insight, but he tended to be just a
little too persistent and kinda mean, and that got Oracle mad. He did
spark more intelligent conversations than most of the other forumers
that have frequented CC, though. Gotta give him that. |

Oracle was way too mysterious and disembodied to have a nemesis.
Maybe a thorn, but certainly not a nemesis. _________________

You were originally hired to make maps and contribute to the group, not
never visit the forums and barely irc, and use the staff ftp to store
MP3's. And I was never informed of any projects, so it was necessary. _________________ -Magic
